Plans are in full swing for our very first quilt show this Saturday, October 17 at Landmark Court Retirement Complex, 140 Darlington Private from 1330-1530. We have more than 80 articles for show and sale and Nancy, Lynne and I would like to thank you all for your overwhelming support of this event. The retirement home will hold a tea in conjunction with the show so come one and all and there is no cost for either event! On display we will have the various means of purchasing our fabulous fabric such as Bali pops, jelly rolls, charm squares, etc, etc. Those who volunteered at the last meeting have been contacted with their various duties and arrival times and we are really looking forward to it. Your articles will be returned to you at the October 21 meeting so please arrange for someone to pick them up if you are not able to attend this meeting. On display will be our fabulous Summer Block Challenge quilt from 2007 ably assembled by Cynthia Leonard and quilted by Jan Kittle, which won first prize at the Plowing Match
