Our Guild meeting will be on Wednesday, October 21 and our guest speaker for this evening will be Pippa Moore, who now resides in Comox, B.C. but finds her inspiration from African themes or the Art Deco period. If you wish to bring a friend, please remember that our visitors’ fee is now $5.00.

Remember to bring your mug, or rent one from the Social committee, bring your membership card to borrow from the library and provide suggestions about that book or DVD you saw that you think other members would be interested in and give to Barb and Irene. Erin and Jan will be monitoring the Fat Quarter table and Jan will have the next hint at the Mystery Quilt. Tracy will once again be having the raffle, proceeds from which go towards various Guild activities. Have you yet completed your African Block of the Month? Put your name in for the draw and you have a chance to win those blocks submitted.  Suzanne and Sally will gratefully receive your Quilties for the babies.

So much going on, but please remember that, even though the Executive is there at 6:30 to set up the room, we kindly ask that you respect the 7:15-7:45 Social time with the business meeting starting at 8. We will put you to work if you come earlier…….just ask our visitors from Almonte last month!

Please respect the handicap parking signs and leave them for those of our membership who require them. The bar staff spots are for the Social Ladies who have lots to carry in.

Ann will have a report re the Quilt Marathon for all of us, and those who participated, please remember to wear your pink scarves!
